上海天文馆研究中心拥有陨石实验室、文物实验室、双焦点可切换1米望远镜（DOT）、65cm科教型自适应光学太阳望远镜（EAST）。目前拥有博士4人，硕士3人。可对陨石、文物类文创产品进行真伪认证。可对中小学生研学进行认证。
